Tom Fazio design with extensive bunkering and generous landing areas,
Gateway can be played from many different yardages, with many available
pin positions. Abundant water, trees and sand -- but the landing areas
are so large, it's hard to get into trouble. Tightly cut fairways with
fast, soft greens. Every hole is a significant challenge. Outstanding
par 3's with a wide range of yardages from 100 to over 200 yards. Par
4's ranging from reachable-off-the-tee to barely-hit-it-in-two. Wind may
effect your game thanks to the in-land location. Extensive practice facilities
including a large, double-ended driving range, practice green and chipping
green.
Golf Digest has ranked the course Top 50 in the United States. Gateway’s
sculptured course has Cape Cod bunkers and native cypress trees to provide
a well-rounded combination of playability and aesthetic appeal.
